A Brief History

Founded over 15 years ago, Amir Goldstein began Consumer Counsel Group as a New York law firm dedicated to fighting back against relentless creditors who had little regard for the clients they abused. Over time and myriad client requests, Amir expanded his practice to include all aspects of consumer advocacy law and saw such great success on behalf of his clients that he opened up a second office in Los Angeles. How We Work

Separator

Starting the process is simple and immediate.

All you have to do is call our office or fill out the contact form found on this website and we’ll get the ball rolling on whatever issue you would like to address. You will get personal attention from our top lawyers and in the case of debt harassment, our services are FREE. The debt collector, under the FDCPA, is entitled to pay the attorney fees.

In-depth analysis

After the initial review is made, we’ll go into an in-depth analysis of your case and give you honest opinions and recommendations of what to expect and how to proceed. Afterwards, we’ll begin our fact checking and information gathering. The credit reporting errors, you may have experienced can be disputed by a letter. Once verified, the errors must be taken care of immediately. If the credit reporting agency fails to rectify this mistake and because of this you are denied credit, you can sue the credit reporting agency under the FCRA.We will sue the credit bureaus on your behalf, for not reporting your proper credit history and status.

Fix the errors

At this stage we either enter negotiations on your behalf or we set up a court appearance to resolve your issue. Our goal is to fix the errors on your credit report and to help you secure your investments and finances. If your case is filed and there is a positive outcome, you may receive compensation of up to 1,000 dollars as statutory damages plus actual damages and the attorney fees.
